Developed by Sucker Punch Production, Infamous 2 is a video game meant to be played on the playstation 3 console. It is published by video game mogul Sony Computer Entertainment last June 2010, Infamous 2 is intended as a sequel to the wildly popular 2009 video game Infamous.

Infamous 2 tells the story of super humans called Condiuts who were created by a device named the Ray Spere. The Ray Sphere performs this function by draining off the energy of regular mortals in order to unlock the energy of the fated Conduits. One such Conduit is the video game’s protagonist, Cole Mac Grath who can either save humanity by eliminating the Conduits or choose the Conduits over the rest of humanity.

Aside from Cole, the game also features the antagonist Kessler who is actually Cole from an alternate parallel universe. Moreover, Infamous 2 has factions, which are essentially groups or organizations whose aim is either to help Cole in his quest or to eliminate him. This article provides the video game enthusiast with a brief overview and introduction to the different factions that exist in the exciting world of Infamous 2.

One such faction is composed of Reapers who are basically antagonists who were formerly marginalized residents of the Neon District of Empire City who are now controlled by a powerful drug called the Black Tar. They are headed by Sasha and almost always wear beige or red hooded garments. If Cole selects the dark path, he will work with Reapers right from the start, while he will battle them if he chooses to save humanity.

Another faction that exists in the Infamous 2 universe is composed of Dust Men who reside in the Western District of Empire City. They are patterned after homeless people, with trash bags and rust-covered guns. They are usually olive green or brown in color.

First Sons are factions who are considered as cultists. They have the most powerful and state of the art weapons and armor if compared to the first two factions. The enigmatic Kessler serves as their leader.

The Empire City Police force can also be considered as another faction, who can either help or hinder Cole Mac Grath, depending on which side he is on. There are also Militia groups that are the foremost anti-Conduit group in the entire Infamous 2 universe. Meanwhile, Vermaak 88’s are those who were coerced into becoming Conduits against their will. They are also another faction whose primary power resides in their cryogenic abilities.

Due to the various technological advancements that have taken place these past few years, all aspects of current society has already been permeated by the widespread use of computers and the internet—with accompanying economic, political, social and cultural implications. As a matter of fact, even rest and recreation options have changed greatly due to technology and computers. Rather than spending time with classic toys and real outdoor sports and activities, many kids have turned to video gaming enthusiasts, with video games taking the place of real-time sports or pastimes. One such videogame that made waves among the gaming community was Race: Injection, a racing simulation game that was developed by video game mogul Simbin Studios. This article provides the reader with an honest review of the abovementioned game, complete with the pros and cons of buying and playing this particular video game.

Because Race: Injection was developed almost five long years ago, it is inevitable that the graphics and images of this particular game seem antiquated if compared to the more recent racing games such as Need for Speed, Burnout or Project Cars which feature highly detailed graphics and state of the art graphics of racetracks and car models that are sure to satisfy any gaming enthusiast.

The game comes with 40 different racetracks and 83 different car models, divided in around 15 different classes, each one customizable according to the player’s preferences. Moreover, Race: Injection offers players an amazing sound design that accurately captures every single sound, from the smooth cruising of a modern WTCC BMW to the earsplitting power engine of the Camaro. This specific feature allows the player to experience the real sounds of a racetrack even in the comfort of his own living room and definitely adds to the thrill of playing the game.

Little Battlers is set to awe gamers in another action filled quest. Also known as danball senki, the Little Battlers features several game modes. LBX units are set out to battle against other people. The game features anime-like characters and the story is somewhat similar to a TV anime.

The player is set to follow the adventures of the main character as he goes on a quest to visit the town of Misora. And from therein, events of the game follow in quick succession.  Through this adventure filled journey, the player can challenge several Quest BBS. The Quest BBS icon allows the player to see and help people from the Misori town. A point is granted by every quest that the player was able to complete, that is for every person that he was able to help. Another highlight of the game was set in the year 2050. The main character, Ban Yamao was able to receive a mysterious LBX AX-OO from an unknown woman. This event led to a conspiracy in which Ban Yamo and his friends were involved. There are also varieties of exciting events and quests that the player can engage in . From planned battles to an unexpected one, Little Battlers is sure to keep you glued to your seats.

If you consider yourself to be one of those game fanatics, then you must familiarize yourself with The Elder Scroll V: Skyrim. Made by Bethesda Game Studios, this action role-playing video game was published by Bethesda Softworks. As the name suggest, it is the 5th installment in the Elder Scrolls game series. It was rolled out on November 11, 2011 for Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows and Sony PlayStation 3.

Skyrim’s story is about the character’s efforts to defeat a Dragon god named Alduin who is destined to destroy the world. The game takes places in the Skyrim province (right on the Tamriel continent in the Nim planet) and set 200 years after Oblivion. Since Skyrim is an open world gameplay, the player can probe the area and may delay the main quest indefinitely. The game has received critical and commercial acclaim. In its first week of release, retailers have shipped more than seven million copies.

Skyrim’s Gameplay

The Elder Scrolls game series traditionally uses the nonlinear game play and this is evident in the fifth installment. Players have the option to scrutinize the open world on foot or on horse and you can also fast travel to towns, cities and dungeons after their discoveries. In your exploration, you may encounter wildlife and a lot of wilderness monsters are hostile so better be careful in your quest.

The Character Development

As a primary element of Skyrim, the character development consists of the player choosing one of the several human, zoomorphic or elven human races that have different abilities and then the player customizes the character’s looks. The player needs to improve the character’s skills represented by numerical marks. Eighteen skills are divided evenly between three schools of combat, stealth and magic.

The Combat

When any of the player’s three attributes are depleted, a heads-up display will appear. Since health is the first to be depleted most commonly through combat, the player can restore it by potions, resting or spells. When all health is lost, it will result to death.

The Game’s Plot

The player’s character can choose to escape with a Stormcloak rebel or an Imperial Soldier after the Dragon attack on Helgen. Then the player will travel to the town of Riverwood and then to Whiterun city to request for help from the Jarl. The Jarl then acknowledges to send soldiers to Riverwood and asks to help his court-wizard in exchange.

The Elder Scroll V is a great game that an avid gamer would find exciting and interesting to play. So if you haven’t played this one yet, it is most certainly worth a try.

4. New Classes of people - In the game, each player has their own favorite class. The makers of the Battlefield 3 have added new classes—the combat medic which is a combination of the assault and medic classes who can heal himself and revive his fellow Rambo in the midst of the ongoing battle; the support class, meanwhile, can use light machine guns mounted on surfaces for accuracy; the engineer whose primary focus is to destroy and maintain vehicles; and the sniper who has become more dangerous because of the added lens twinkle and the mortar abilities.
5. Prone - Battlefield 3 allows players to prone. Although it is miniscule and trivial, it is also considered the most important thing in history of games. Players can now dive into prone, and do it anytime they want.
